Cove Ledge is a boutique wine, spirits and beer shop located in the heart of Stonington Borough. Owned and operated by a local family, we are proud to be part of the Stonington community. We strive to be more than just a package store, with a curated wine selection, rotating craft beers and all of your favorite spirits. AND we have a state of the art wine tasting machine with 8 wines available to taste every day! Wine
We carry an eclectic, highly curated selection of wines from around the globe, at a wide range of price points and styles. Looking for a gutsy Italian pizza red, an elegant white Burgundy or a skin-contact pet-nat? We’ve got you covered! What ties the collection together? We try to choose wines that we believe are well made, offer good value and reflect their particular region and grape. Our selection leans toward smaller producers that you might not find everywhere, and we highlight our organic and biodynamic offerings. As a small shop, we aren’t able to stock everything, but we promise we have something you will like! And our wine tasting machine is always here to help you decide.
Beer & Spirits
Our beer and spirits collection is carefully chosen as well, from the bitter digestives to that hard to locate bourbon, you will find it here. We love to seek out the smaller producers making quality spirits. We also have a large selection of local beers from the many breweries here in CT and in greater New England, as well as some fantastic imported beers you won’t find everywhere. From IPA’s to barrel-aged sours, we have something for everyone.

We have lots of other goodies in the shop for you to browse as well. Shop our picnic section which includes award winning Cato Corner cheeses, the gift section that ranges from cute napkins to wine puzzles, and then our non alcoholic section which includes NA wines and mocktails.
